Born in 1956 in Como. Since he was young he developed a passion for photography, eventually coming in 1983 to focus radically and definitively on Polaroid. He soon became the official brand testimonial and he reinvented the Photographic Mosaic technique, initially adapted to portraits.
The popularity and success of these artworks led him to join the Venice Film Festival as official portrait artist. His signature photograph of Johnny Depp, taken during the 2003 edition, was chosen as the image for the September cover of the prestigious Times Magazine. In 2017 he signed the 49th Manifesto of Barcolana, interpreting the spirit of the world’s largest regatta with his technique of sequential snapshots.
